About this module

Three units on the governance architecture every board now works within: the King V Code and the Companies Act, side by side.

It covers what changed in King V (2025), what the board is required to report, and where a director's personal liability begins. The governing body it addresses is the same by any name: company directors, retirement fund trustees, public-entity council or accounting-authority members, and body corporate trustees. Foundational means we start where the accountability starts. You do not need a law degree. You need to know what the seat you hold actually carries.
